Artjoms Ivanovs uzvarēja Ronu Heusdenu un pieteicās kā viens no pretendentiem uz medaļām. Tagad ir jau skaidrs, ka priekš medaļām būs vajadzīgas vismaz četras, pat varbūt piecas uzvaras. Tā kā Guntim Valnerim ir jāmēģina vienu, divas partijas uzvarēt. Ir skaidrs, ka Rons Heusdens un Heins Meijers ir ļoti noguruši. Heins uztaisīja neizšķirtu ar turnīra pastarīti Kliftonu Agatu. Janam Grunendeikam un Jitsem Slumpem tūlīt būs četras uzvaras pret Kliftonu Agatu un apsteigs Gunti Valneri.
Sievietēm Viktorija Motričko joprojām vadībā, bet pietuvojās Darja Tkačenko, kura uzvarēja nīderlandiešu cerību Lisu Šoltenu. Darjai viena uzvara tikpat kā rokā pret Gaļinu Petuhovu no ASV, kurai gandrīz visas nullītes. Ja nebūtu Darja atdevusi kauliņu pret Olenu Korotku, un Olga Baltaži un Julija Makarenkova savai tautietei Viktorijai uzdāvinājušas uzvaras, tad droši vien Darja jau būtu līderos. Par trešo ceturto vietu notiek sīva cīņa starp Olenu Korotku no Ukrainas un polieti Natāliju Sadovsku. Šeit pagaidām gan vēl nekas nav zināms.
